Tom Seguin, owner of Suncoast Gems, is a man who has always been deeply committed to his  community. He has served on boards for the Bradenton Kiwanis Club, Big Brother Big Sister, the Manatee Community College Foundation, and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, as well as being heavily involved with United Way and other non-profits. It seems community service is a value he has instilled in his son, because after seeing his father’s years of community involvement Mitchell Seguin is now following in his tracks.

Born in Bradenton and a University of Florida grad, Mitchell moved to San Francisco in May, 2013 to work for Google but never forgot the values he learned at home. Mitchell took his hometown giving-back philosophy to the big city, and with the help of some friends launched the “Urban Outdoorsman Project”. The Urban Outdoorsman Project is designed to help the homeless population of San Francisco by hosting a Free Movie Night to collect “outdoor oriented gift boxes”. Their goal is to help bring some joy and comfort to the homeless population this Christmas. Every little bit will help someone in need. This Thanksgiving, please help Mitchell give back to those less fortunate at https://fundly.com/urban-outdoorsman-project.
