We provide loose diamonds, estate diamonds, and certified diamonds. We offer gold jewelry, estate jewelry, watches and platinum jewelry. We offer ruby, sapphire and emerald jewelry and colored stone jewelry of all kinds.

Our Staff
 Suncoast Gem Lab is owned and operated by Donna and Tom Seguin. Tom hails from Detroit, Michigan and has been in Florida for 34 years. Donna is from Cleveland, Ohio and lived in Southern California for 16 years before moving to Bradenton. They have two sons; Anthony, 22 and Mitchell, 19.
Donna studied at Ohio State University and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/ Journalism before going on to her career in the jewelry industry. Donna then studied at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California and received her Graduate Gemologist in Residence degree.
While in California Donna was an active member of the Woman's Jewelry Association and the GIA Alumni Association. Donna was also an active volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for four years and a volunteer for the Special Olympics. She is currently a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and holds the NJA designation.
On the local level, Donna has been an active member of Toastmasters International and gives presentations to civic and professional organizations on a regular basis. She has served on the United Way Allocations committee and the Manatee Community College Foundation Events Committee.
 Tom studied at Manatee Community College before beginning his career in the jewelry industry. After college, Tom went on to get his Graduate Gemologist's degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). He then became very involved in the jewelry industry. Tom was on the Board of Directors for the Accredited Gemologist Association and the Regional Governor for the southeastern United States. While holding that office Tom organized several of the most successful educational Gemological conferences ever conducted by the AGA.
Tom was a chapter officer for the Florida GIA Alumni Association and a Director on the International GIA Alumni Board of Directors. Tom is a Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers and holds the coveted Master Gemologist Appraiser designation. Tom also holds the NAJA designation from the National Association of
Jewelry Appraisers.
Tom has been equally as active on the local level. He has lectured at the Manatee Community College science series and has taught the Introduction to Gemology class for the Manatee County Parks and Recreation Department. He continues to offer two annual diamond seminars. Tom is a member of the Bradenton Rotary Club and a former Big Brother. While a Big Brother Tom was asked to serve on the board and completed two terms in that position. Tom is a former Director of the Manatee Community College Foundation Board of Directors where he served for six years. He completed his second term as the President of the Board.
Tom served on the Manatee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 7 years. He is a graduate of Leadership Manatee and currently sits on the Leadership Manatee Board of Governors. Because of his civic involvement Tom was nominated and selected to be one of the Olympic Torchbearers for the 1996 Olympic Torch Relay. Tom and Donna are both available to give presentations on Gems and Jewelry topics to civic and professional groups. |
